About Us

The AOL’s vision is aligned with the goals of the Government of Dubai, and is consistent with the DIFC’s overall objectives—that is, developing the GCC legal system as an economic growth platform. Its mission is delivering legal and business education in the Middle East with global value. And its strategy is preparing lawyers for international commercial law practice by collaborating with world-class institutions, developing new services, and expanding market reach.

About Us

The AOL’s business model is organized under the broad categories of “Learning & Development,” and “CSR and Legal System Development.”  The AOL formed Stakeholder Advisory Boards for the two modules comprised of key members who have an interest in the outcome of AOL’s business and activities, can lend their collective views on new initiatives, and who make real-time decisions to accelerate time-to-market.  The AOL’s operating units include Publications ("creating the IP of the profession"), Education ("increase lawyer cross-jurisdiction competencies), Registry/Regulation ("drive stakeholder value and process efficiency"), Pro Bono ("provide CSR services to society"), and Legal Community Development ("share professional knowledge").
